Andrea Diemar the Occupational Therapist
Andrea graduated with Honours in Occupational Therapy from the University of Newcastle in 2021. Her experience encompasses the entire lifespan, with a particular focus on pediatric occupational therapy, private practice, and recreational and wellbeing support in aged care settings.
Throughout her studies, Andrea gained hands-on experience as a childcare educator and disability support worker, assisting neurodivergent individuals of all ages. These experiences deepened her passion for neuro-affirming practice and her commitment to helping individuals and families define what wellbeing means for them.
Andrea operates within the social model of disability and is dedicated to client-led therapy that respects each person’s strengths, interests, and autonomy. Her warm and collaborative approach enhances the therapeutic experience for every client she supports.
